Colors may appear slightly different from one screen to the next. Monitors, mobile displays, ambient lighting, and camera calibration all influence how a hue is rendered. The tone you see online is a faithful representation, but subtle variation from the piece in hand is natural — much as a silk scarf will read differently by morning light than by candlelight.

Our fascinators, hats, purses, and jewelry are handcrafted in limited quantities from natural materials — silk, sinamay, feather, horsehair, Italian leather, sterling silver, and pearl. Because each piece is made by hand, slight variations in stitching, drape, feather placement, patina, or grain are inherent to the craft.

These small differences are what make each House of Palomino piece singular. They are not considered defects, but rather the signature of a piece touched by human hands — and part of what makes your piece uniquely yours.
